Project Management
- Coordination between owners, captains, and contractors to maintain clear communication.

- Regular inspections to prevent collateral damage to surrounding systems and finishes.
- Verification of materials, workmanship, and compliance with class and flag requirements.
- Supervision of commissioning, sea trials, and delivery documentation prior to handover.
- Coordination with class and flag surveyors to ensure full compliance and smooth certification processes.
Captain & Crew Support
- Managing technical or refit projects when crew resources are stretched.
- Liaising with contractors, surveyors, and owners to maintain alignment and progress.
- Temporary command, sea trials, and delivery services.
- Mentoring and coaching programs to enhance crew performance and efficiency.
Owner Support
- Systems and operations analysis to improve reliability and ease of use.
- Assistance in understanding onboard manuals, maintenance plans, and safety systems.
- Weather interpretation, passage planning, and operational decision-making.
- Practical coaching for berthing, anchoring, and general boat handling.
- Owner representation during new builds and refits.
Experience
- 27 years at sea serving on private and charter yachts.
- Owner representation for high-performance sailing yacht new builds.
- Direct involvement in shipyard negotiations, planning, and supervision.
- Proven ability to control budgets, schedules, and compliance standards.
- Class and Flag state regulations support and liaising with surveyors.
- Practical insight into operational safety, manning, and charter procedures.
